An AODD diaphragm dampener operates by absorbing pressure peaks from the pump discharge using a flexible diaphragm and compressed air chamber. As pulsating flow enters the dampener, the diaphragm flexes to absorb energy and releases it smoothly, resulting in steady and uniform flow.This mechanism significantly reduces vibration, noise, and stress on pipelines and valves.
