It is widely used in chemical processing, water and wastewater treatment (ETP & STP), oil & gas, power plants, pharmaceuticals, and process industries where safe and accurate level monitoring is essential.The indicator works on the principle of magnetic coupling. A float containing a permanent magnet moves up and down inside a sealed chamber according to the liquid level. As the float moves, it magnetically activates a series of bi-colored flappers (red/white) mounted externally on the indicator scale. This provides a clear and highly visible level indication without direct contact between the process fluid and the indicator.Magnetic flapper level indicators are especially suitable for toxic, corrosive, high-pressure, and high-temperature liquids, as the process fluid remains completely sealed inside the chamber. The absence of glass parts makes them safer than traditional sight glasses in demanding industrial environments.
